On June 2, 2025, Mother Marcela Runcan, OSBM, Archimandrite of the Sisters of St. Basil the Great, attended the Liturgical commemoration of Blessed Hieromartyr Julian Hossu, a Romanian Greek Catholic Bishop and Cardinal of the Roman Church. Blessed Julian had distinguished himself in the defense of the Jews during World War II and died as a result of the Communist persecution in Romania. The commemoration was held in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.
